Sorgeto Bay on the southwestern coast is the most famous free thermal spring in Ischia, and for good reason. Fumarole Beach on Maronti

The water here is cooler than Sorgeto but rich in beneficial minerals.
Nitrodi Springs
The springs of Nitrodi at Buonopane (Barano) have been known since ancient times — Roman votive tablets to Apollo and the nymphs were found here, testifying to the water’s healing reputation. The springs have a small managed area with a fee, but the water that flows freely along the approach path is rich in the same minerals and free to collect and use. The ride up to Buonopane by scooter is scenic, passing through some of the island’s prettiest countryside.
